Our 6-piece isopod culture kit has everything you need to start and maintain a thriving isopod colony!
This kit includes-
A plastic shoe box. (Due to different isopods requiring different humidity levels, no additional holes have been placed in the box.) 
 BioActive Forest Floor Substrate, a 3-quart bag specially formulated to provide isopods not only with a substrate to live in but also one they will want to eat. It is diverse in its ingredients, made from 17 different components, and will support all types of isopods at all life stages.
A small bag of  Leaf Litter. Leaf litter not only provides a place for isopods to hide and feel secure but also serves as a food source. It's important to replenish leaf litter when it runs out.
A small bag of Cork Bark Pieces. These pieces of cork are all-natural and contain no pesticides or chemicals. Isopods will spend time crawling on the underside of these cork pieces and, of course, they will consume them.
A 100-gram bag of Limestone, this is a great addition and will provide calcium. Isopods need calcium to grow and maintain their exoskeleton.
A 2 oz pouch of our Isopod & Springtail Diet will round off this kit. Our Isopod Diet can be fed to any type of Isopod at any life stage.
